AIMMAP and CENFIM held a webinar on CAPACITY BUILDING AND TRAINING IN INNOVATIVE PRODUCTION TECHNOLOGIES within the scope of the PRODUTECH R3 project
AIMMAP and CENFIM came together once again for a joint session, this time focused on capacity building and training specifically for innovative solutions in the cluster of production technologies.
The session, led by João Girão and Vitor Dias from CENFIM, took place online on March 8th, and was aimed exclusively at the members of the consortium of the PRODUTECH R3 project – Recovery, Resilience and Reindustrialization, the Mobilizing Agenda of the Production Technologies Sector for Reindustrialization, which aims to induce a structural change in this cluster, enabling it to explore the significant investments that the industry will make with the green and digital transition, reducing external technological dependence, increasing the added value generated in the country and contributing to a change in the specialization of the Portuguese economy.
And it is precisely in this very challenging scenario that is being developed and CENFIM one of the most central work packages of the project, given its transversality, dedicated to capacity building and training in innovative production technologies.
For about an hour, dozens of members of the consortium attended the presentation of the training and capacity building plan prepared to respond to this enormous challenge.
A plan that has as its main strategic objectives, to respond to the double transition, Resilience, collaborative innovation and creation of sustainable scale, adopting a set of lines of action ranging from the acquisition of new skills, different training and qualification profiles, to the promotion, retention and attraction of talent.
On the other hand, as mentioned several times during the session, the work developed jointly by AIMMAP and CENFIM, has an important aggregating focus, based on an ESG – Environment, Social and Governance Sustainability strategy, promoting the development of skills in technologies for digitalization, digital transformation, environmental sustainability, and industrial management.
It was a session of enormous interest of this project funded by the European Union under the NextGeneration EU program through the Recovery and Resilience Facility (RRF) and the Recovery and Resilience Plan, which aims to take advantage of the transversality of production technologies and cross-fertilization processes, leveraging the positioning of companies in the production technology sector and promoting knock-on effects to the entire national economic crisis.
