IAMOT 2024

IAMOT 2024, an international conference on technology and innovation management, will have an edition in Porto in 2024 with the theme "People-Centered Technology Management for a Sustainable Future". The aim of this conference is to promote a robust debate on the role of technology in implementing sustainable and human-centred practices to address social, environmental, humanitarian, political and economic challenges.

At IAMOT we will have a day dedicated to companies, when cases that demonstrate creative, effective and innovative results arising from the application of technologies, sustainable and/or people-centered practices will be presented. Thus, for this session, each company will be able to make a 10-minute presentation (in English) that describes the impact on management practices, critical analyses, case studies, practical applications, among others. On this day we will also have a round table with companies, mediated by Prof. Américo Azevedo, to explore the intersection between technology and sustainability.  

If you are interested in participating, you must send by e-mail a text in English, considering a limit of 2000 words, describing the case you intend to present. The text must be sent to iamot2024@inesctec.pt by June 15, 2024. The participation of one person in the conference for this day has a cost of 220€*, which also entitles you to watch the entire program of that day.
