PRODUTECH present at FIMAP – International Fair of Machinery, Accessories and Services for the Wood Industry

FIMAP was held from 7 to 9 November, serving as a meeting point between industry and high technology, assuming itself as the great showcase of production technologies.

PRODUTECH was present with a booth that incorporated the demonstration of innovative solutions, developed by its associates, promoting the visibility of the sector.

In the scope of FIMAP, and in order to reach different stakeholders, PRODUTECH organized a Training Workshop "Opportunities for the Wood Industry".

This workshop promoted the reflection on the benefits of the circular economy, sensitizing the industry to the development of innovative technological solutions in view of a more sustainable future.

In the panel Sustainability and Circular Economy, the event was attended by AIMMP and SMART WASTE PORTUGAL. The panel of Challenges and Opportunities, the partners of PRODUTECH, Sustainable Habitat Cluster, and the EY-Parthenon Consultant were also present. INESC TEC, BTL and SISTRADE were the Associates that promoted the discussion through examples of projects developed, and presenting innovative solutions for the Madeira Industry.

At the end, the workshop provided a moment of networking, where it is clear that the path to a more sustainable and competitive future lies in the creation of synergies among the various actors.
