PRODUTECH R3 participated in FEUP ConnectinGears 2024

Five members of the PRODUTECH R3 project consortium participated in one of the days of FEUP ConnectinGears 2024, which took place between the 2nd and 4th of April at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto.

With the need to create a bridge between the student world and the business community, the 1st edition of ConnectinGears was created in 2017. Known for its growth over the years and to enhance the event and encompass students from other international institutions, ConnectinGears was elevated to the category of Congress in the 2020 edition.

Today, it is one of the most important mechanical engineering congresses in Portugal, organized by the Academic Group of Mechanical Engineering of FEUP.

The participation in this initiative, which since 2017 has already given living proof of the approximation between FEUP students and the business world, was carried out under the PRODUTECH R3 project, within the scope of the actions developed by WP17 - Capacity Building and Professional Training Program in Innovative Production Technologies.

This initiative, within the scope of the Mobilizing Agenda of the Production Technologies Sector for Reindustrialization, aims to contribute to the achievement of the objective of disseminating information and attracting talent to the Production Technologies Sector.
