STAYAWAY COVID an App to alert the contagion risk
The STAYAWAY COVID digital screening application has more than 2 million users in Portugal and aims to help the contagion interrupt chains, so critical in this new pandemic evolution phase.
STAYAWAY COVID is an application that aims to assist in the transmission chains control, through alerts of contagion risk due to the permanence for more than 15 minutes and less than 2 meters away from people who have been diagnosed with COVID-19.
The use of the application is voluntary, free of charge and simple to use.
This application was developed by several entities of the Portuguese scientific system, led by INESC TEC, who have joined forces to help stop this pandemic.
