The ADMANTEX2i consortium met in Nantes (France) for the second face-to-face Steering Committee meeting, on March 23rd and 24th, 2022.
The ADMANTEX2i consortium met on March 23rd and 24th in Nantes (France) to discuss the ongoing activities of the various work packages of the project and to plan next internationalization activities to support the global competitiveness of its members. The Steering Committee Meeting was hosted by project partner EMC2.
ADMANTEX2i is an internationalization project aimed at leading international cluster cooperation in advanced manufacturing and advanced textile materials as an enabler for globally competitive sustainable products functional in a broad range of high-end applications.
During the meeting and based on insights from workshops organized across Europe over the past months, the partnership prioritized the end target markets and defined the broad calendar of activities for internationalization.
ADMANTEX2i project will organize three international business missions during 2023 to the USA, Japan and Canada.
The first mission will be organized to the Bay area of San Francisco (California) in February 2023 with the key goals of inspiring new business models and of promoting opportunities for digitalization technologies and smart textiles. All participating SMEs will also get individual agendas for dedicated business meetings and financial support through a dedicated call.
he second mission will target the Japanese market and will focus on high performance home textiles through participation in a major trade show, and will be organized during June/July 2023.
Finally, the third mission will be to Canada in November 2023, and will include participation in the Advanced Design & Manufacturing Expo trade show in Montreal.
The next in-person Steering Committee Meeting will take place in Valencia Community, Spain, in October 2022, and will be organized by ATEVAL.
The ADMANTEX2i consortium gathers 6 clusters: AEI TÈXTILS (Spain), ATEVAL (Spain), CITEVE (Portugal), PRODUTECH (Portugal), Pôle EMC2 (France), and AFIL- Associazione Fabbrica Intelligente Lombardia (Italy).
