WP 1 Action Plan Presentation Webinar – Qualification and Development Plan / Strategic Intelligence

On March 27th, a webinar was held to present Work Package 1 of the PRODUTECH R3 Project.

For more than an hour, José Ângelo Pinto, Coordinator of WP 1, presented this program that aims to strengthen the intelligence function at the service of the production technology sector and create basic conditions for the qualification of the production technology sector, promoting more resilience, growth and innovation.

Generating great synergies, this program has thus consistently complemented the other implementations provided for in the Innovation Pact, expanding the intervention to the entire chain of national production technologies, leveraging their transformation and inducing knock-on effects.

Specifically, WP 1 aims to define an Innovation Agenda for the Production Technologies Sector with regard to the development of a technological, innovation and education and training roadmap for the sector, also leveraging the knowledge generated, good practices and experience accumulated through participation in European and international initiatives, as well as the development of an Investment and Financing Plan for the smart, sustainable and resilient growth of FTP.

In addition, it also aims to boost participation in networks, R&D + I initiatives and international Think Tanks, the articulation between the various actors and promote the wide dissemination of the program's results, ensuring the involvement of all FTP stakeholders, thus allowing the creation of mechanisms for the effective change of the specialization profile of the national industry.

This work package, which has as its main stakeholders PRODUTECH, AIMMAP, CATIM, and the entire PRODUTECH R3 CONSORTIUM, assumes enormous relevance within the scope of this Agenda.
