PRODUTECH joined a mission to Japan within the scope of the ADMANTEX2i project
From the 11th untill 15th of March, PRODUTECH co-organized a mission to Japan that included a Portuguese delegation of 12 representatives from companies and ENESII and included visits to the Japan Chemical Fibers Association and Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA), in Tokyo, and to Kawasaki Heavy Industries, in Akashi, Hyōgo, and participation in the Smart Manufacturing Summit, March 13-15 at Aichi Sky Expo.
This event, dedicated to innovations for industry 5.0, was attended by several large Japanese companies and start-ups and a delegation of European companies as exhibitors at the fair, as well as several parallel initiatives, including industrial visits, conferences and a start-up showcase. The ADMANTEX2i project was also present with an institutional stand that companies were able to use as a point of contact with other exhibitors.
The mission to Japan was carried out within the scope of the ADMANTEX2i project, which brings together six European clusters from the production technologies and textiles sectors, and had the participation of three PRODUTECH associated entities: FAN 3D, INESC TEC and the Polytechnic Institute of Castelo Branco.
This initiative made it possible to establish important contacts in the Japanese market and open the door to future collaboration and business opportunities.
This project was co-funded by the European Union's COSME Programme
